Sales Manager – Domestic & Cross-Border Transportation

to help accelerate growth across inland and distribution services.

About the Role This position is responsible for developing and expanding business within

FTL, LTL, intermodal, drayage, and warehousing/distribution . You’ll focus on both new client acquisition and existing account growth, working closely with operations and pricing teams to deliver competitive, customized logistics solutions.

It’s an ideal opportunity for a driven sales professional with strong industry knowledge and a proven ability to build long-term partnerships that generate sustainable revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business and revenue growth across inland transportation (FTL, LTL, intermodal, drayage) and warehousing services.

Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities across target customer segments.

Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and margin goals.

Manage existing accounts with a focus on profitability, retention, and cross-selling.

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through strategic prospecting and networking.

Prepare accurate reports, forecasts, and growth plans.

Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity.

Act as the primary liaison between customers and operations to ensure service excellence.

Candidate Profile

5+ years of proven sales experience in 3PL, inland transportation, or related logistics.

Strong understanding of domestic transportation and warehousing solutions.

Experience managing RFPs and developing tailored logistics proposals.

Established book of business or network within the shipper/logistics community.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Highly motivated, results-driven, and organized with strong follow-through.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a broader team.
