Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. The role studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations, obtains rulings and interpretations for compliance, prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and granting access to restricted records and materials. The analyst conducts security education, security audits, investigates security violations, and prepares preventive action reports. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable security regulations and leading the security program for various Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. This role supports our McClellan, CA location. This position can be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.
Responsibilities
Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Study and implement federal security regulations applicable to company operations. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for regulatory compliance from government agencies. Prepare manuals outlining regulations and establish procedures for handling, storing, and granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conduct security education classes and security audits; investigate security violations and prepare preventive action reports. Maintain compliance with applicable security regulations and lead the security program for SCI programs. Support the McClellan, CA location. Basic Qualifications
Level 2: 2+ years of Industrial Security or relevant experience with a bachelors' degree; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Current Active Top Secret/SCI clearance. In-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PPR) completed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program. US Citizenship required. Knowledge of NISPOM, DISS, and/or SIMS. Must be proficient in MS Office suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Level 3: 5+ years of Industrial Security or relevant experience with bachelors' degree or 3+ years with a Master's Degree; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Current Active Top Secret/SCI clearance. In-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PPR) completed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program. Top Secret clearance with SCI. Experience with customer high side networks (CWAN, TIMMS, etc.). Classification inventory and accountability. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience formulating security Standard Operating Procedures for compliance with customer requirements. Experience completing compliance self-inspections and supporting formal customer compliance inspections. Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment and follow projects through to completion. Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines. Willing to work extended hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; strong communication, writing, and organizational skills. Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Salary Ranges
Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00 The salary range is a guideline; base offers depend on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Benefits and Notes
Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available depending on the position.
