Overview
Base pay range: $32.50/hr - $32.50/hr
Position Summary: The Bulk Propane-Cylinder Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering various types of propane cylinders to both residential and commercial customers. You will also provide outstanding customer service and adhere to industry safety standards.
Paraco is a family-owned company that has been delivering clean energy and fueling life's moments for over 50 years. We are one of the largest privately-owned propane companies in the Northeast, serving eight states. We are expanding our services to include total home comfort through Paraco HVAC, offering alternative energy and energy storage systems.
Weekly pay and great benefits are provided.
Responsibilities
Provide daily safe, punctual, consistent, and reliable bulk and cylinder deliveries
Participate in and complete all required industry compliance and company training
Provide consistent, courteous, and efficient customer service
Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections
Work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
Ability to lift and carry over 55 pounds regularly and bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of Class A or B CDL experience
Valid CDL with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements or (X) combination. The license may not contain any Air Brakes (L) or (Z) restrictions
Current DOT Medical Card
Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements
Preferred Skills
Crane experience
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Previous Bobtail delivery of propane, fuel oil, or other hazardous materials
Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
