Builders FirstSource (BFS) is the nation's leading distributor of building materials, providing a wide range of products and services to the professional market. We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to gather customer data, generate new business, and act as a liaison between design, production, and our clients.
Responsibilities
Research, identify, and solicit new customers.
Generate sales opportunities through research on client needs, industry competition, and effective demonstration of product features and benefits.
Measure and collect specification information at the customer site, matching needs with BFS products and services.
Plan and conduct sales presentations for current and prospective customers.
Prepare professional presentations and clarify how BFS can meet specific customer needs.
Resolve issues or refer them to the appropriate employee for resolution.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field plus two (2) years of industry sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
