The pay range is $60,000.00 - $120,000.00. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience and certifications. All about General Merchandise Experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building and managing a guest-first culture on your team

Knowledge of retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies

Experience setting and planning department(s) monthly/quarterly workload to support business priorities and managing a team to deliver on sales goals

Knowledge of the competition; leveraging insights to drive business objectives

Experience managing a team of hourly team members and leaders; creating business-specific strategies and goals

Skills in recruiting, selecting and talent management of hourly team members and leaders

Responsibilities

As a General Merchandise Sales Executive Team Leader, provide leadership in daily operations across GM areas of the store

Drive total store sales and contribute to department and store profitability

Manage a team that executes inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes

Manage a team of experts in operations, accuracy and efficiency

Enable efficient delivery to guests by leading pick, pack and ship fulfillment work (if applicable)

Create a guest-obsessed culture and prioritize the guest experience

Develop workload planning and scheduling in partnership with team leaders

Conduct regular check-ins to ensure task and workload completion

Review reporting, identify gaps, and develop plans to resolve

Oversee backroom and sales floor areas and support organizational changes

Drive fulfillment sales and ensure order accuracy and timely delivery

Assess competition and leverage guest insights to drive business objectives

Demonstrate accountability and high standards of safety and compliance

Qualifications and Skills

4 year degree or equivalent experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong business acumen

Comfortable dealing with ambiguity

Ability to manage conflict, lead, and hold others accountable

Relate well with and interact with all levels of the organization

Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis

Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs

Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently

Additional Requirements and Benefits

Interpret instructions, reports and information

Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 40 pounds

Accurate cash register operations

Climb ladders as needed

Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; regular attendance necessary
