Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a motivated and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and/or sales, with a deep understanding of the market to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within key U.S. markets like food & beverage and FMCG in general. As part of the Siemens Vertical Sales Organization, the Enterprise Account Executive will play a significant role in business generation for the entire Siemens Digital Industries Portfolio relevant to the CPG market. They will work closely with Siemens Sales and customers in the target markets on technical, contractual, and commercial opportunities. This role will also have named account responsibility with associated sales quota. This role reports to the Vertical Sales Manager for CPG.

Driving Strategic Growth & Executive Engagement: Achieve significant sales growth and exceed revenue targets by developing and executing comprehensive strategic account plans. Cultivate and expand deep, lasting relationships with executive leadership and key decision-makers across your assigned CPG accounts, influencing strategic direction and driving impactful outcomes.
Delivering Integrated Siemens Solutions: Leverage the full breadth of the Siemens Digital Industries portfolio, including DI and SI resources, to architect and deliver innovative, impactful solutions. This involves driving specification influence, coordinating across Siemens' internal teams (e.g., Vertical Sales, SW Sales, Digital Sales, OEM Sales, Engineering), and managing relationships with strategic partners and integrators to ensure successful project execution and amplified market reach.
Delivering Measurable Customer Value & Sustainable Growth: Drive opportunity management and forecasting, fueled by proactive demand generation and in-depth account research. Ensure every solution addresses customer challenges and delivers quantifiable financial outcomes impacting their KPIs, fostering growth for Siemens and clients.
Shaping Market Presence & Strategic Insight: Establish Siemens as a recognized thought leader in the CPG sector. Engage with industry associations, conduct market research to identify opportunities, and provide feedback to inform product and strategy.
Managing Key National & Global Accounts: Serve as the primary Account Executive for national accounts and manage Headquarters accounts for global clients in the USA, ensuring engagement, alignment, and growth across complex structures.
This position is ideally based in Nashville, TN, Washington, DC or Chicago, Illinois area.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications Basic Qualifications
Experience & Track Record: 8+ years in business development or strategic account management with a track record of exceeding sales targets in complex environments.
Industrial Acumen: Strong understanding of the CPG industry including dynamics, key players, and business drivers.
Executive Presence & Collaboration: Demonstrated executive presence, communication, and collaboration skills with ability to lead across direct and matrixed teams.
Channel Navigation: Success navigating diverse sales channels, including direct sales, distributors, and system integrators.
Mindset & Logistics: Entrepreneurial mindset, urgency, and willingness to travel up to 50%.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant Academic Foundation: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Digital Transformation Expertise: Understanding of Discrete and Process Automation or Digital Transformation solutions in CPG processes.
Siemens Portfolio Knowledge: Understanding of Siemens Digital Industries products, solutions, and services.
Complex Opportunity Strategy: Ability to develop and execute opportunity pursuit strategies across complex ecosystems (e.g., end-users, engineering firms, system integrators).
