Global Account Manager (Amazon) role at Siemens Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a motivated and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth in a targeted set of named accounts with Amazon as the main anchor account on a global level, and to support broader growth in the Intralogistics industry within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) vertical. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and/or sales, with a deep understanding of the market to identify and capitalize on new opportunities within Amazon or similar retail/distribution companies. This role reports to the global Vertical Intralogistics Head and the US Vertical Sales Manager within our CPG organization. We are looking for a Global Account Manager for Amazon plus other accounts. This position is ideally based in the Nashville, TN, Philadelphia, PA area, mid-Atlantic area, or close to other relevant customer locations (Seattle, WA or Washington, DC) with frequent travel to client sites. You will make an impact by: Driving Strategic Growth & Executive Engagement: Achieve significant sales growth and exceed revenue targets by developing and executing comprehensive strategic account plans. Cultivate and expand deep, lasting relationships with executive leadership and key decision-makers across your assigned accounts, influencing strategic direction and driving impactful outcomes. Delivering Integrated Siemens Solutions: Leverage the full breadth of the Siemens Digital Industries portfolio, including DI and SI resources, to architect and deliver innovative, impactful solutions. Coordinate across Siemens' diverse internal teams (e.g., Vertical Sales, SW Sales, Digital Sales, OEM Sales, Engineering) in the US and relevant countries abroad, and actively manage relationships with strategic partners to ensure successful project execution and amplified market reach. Delivering Measurable Customer Value & Sustainable Growth: Drive rigorous opportunity management and accurate forecasting, fueled by proactive demand generation and in-depth account research. Ensure every solution addresses customer challenges and delivers quantifiable financial outcomes that impact KPIs, fostering sustainable growth for Siemens and its clients. Shaping Market Presence & Strategic Insight: Establish Siemens as a recognized thought leader in the Intralogistics/CPG sector. Engage with industry associations, conduct market research to identify opportunities, and provide feedback to inform product and strategy. Managing Key National & Global Accounts: Serve as the primary Account Executive for critical national accounts and manage Headquarters accounts for global clients based in the USA, ensuring consistent engagement, alignment, and growth across complex organizational structures. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications 8+ years of progressive experience in business development or strategic account management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex solution environments. Strong understanding of the Intralogistics/CPG industry with a focus on retail/distribution, market dynamics, key players, and business drivers. Exceptional executive presence, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and influence across direct and matrixed teams. Proven success navigating diverse sales channels, including direct sales, distributors, and system integrators. Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of urgency, willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic and international). Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Deep understanding of Discrete and Process Automation or Digital Transformation solutions and their application within Intralogistics/CPG processes. Fundamental understanding of the Siemens Digital Industries product, solutions, and service portfolio. Proven ability to develop and execute sophisticated opportunity pursuit strategies across complex ecosystems (e.g., end-users, engineering firms, system integrators).
