Regional Sales Manager - Beef Cattle - Texas
– The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be a "player/coach" that will call on customers and manage a team in a territory covering Texas and possibly surrounding areas. The RSM will call on and manage a territory of large operations, calf ranches, feed yards, and large cow calf customers for the company's product portfolio. The RSM manages a team of Territory Sales Representatives (TSR) and is responsible for motivating team members to exceed expectations and achieve sales goals/metrics while developing relationships with key accounts in their region. This role involves substantial time in the field. Responsibilities
Call on and manage a territory of large operations, calf ranches, feed yards, and large cow calf customers for the company’s product portfolio. Lead and manage a team of Territory Sales Representatives (TSR); motivate the team to exceed sales goals and metrics. Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the region. Work in the field with representatives and meet with customers; travel is a substantial component of the role. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Agriculture, Animal Science or a related field. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in sales leadership or similar roles within the veterinary or healthcare industry. Prior experience calling cattle operations. Proactive mindset and good communication skills. Ability to travel within the region and to national events/meetings. Demonstrated ability to manage a successful team. Employment details
