Expanse Electrical Co. seeks a Region Sales Manager with a 7+ year record of demonstrated sales success of technical products/services, primarily within the oil and gas industry. The role involves generating prospects, scheduling meetings, understanding needs, and closing business. On-site customer presentations/meetings and training, trade show attendance, and regional travel should be expected. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Management and field teams, including Production Foreman, Superintendents, and Engineers. Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Serve as the primary Commercial contact for all Sales accounts in your region. Demonstrate ownership, passion and accountability in your work efforts Drive revenue growth by expanding share of existing customer wallet (i.e., additional service lines) and develop new customers within your region Interact with all Service Line teams within Expanse to deliver excellent customer service and solutions while ensuring profitability for the Company Provide critical interface with Operations leadership team in the field. Demonstrate leadership and collaboration in developing the Company’s business within your region Demonstrated self-starter with time management skills Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals Strong verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to find and promptly engage with the decision makers Work closely with all Expanse Service Lines to accurately quote new installations and projects, including field travel as needed Work through prospects’ objections and close new business Schedule and conduct a minimum of 4 prospect/customer meetings per week and travel as needed to do so Provide accurate and timely entry of prospect and Opportunity data into our D365 CRM tool Represent Expanse Electrical as the primary customer contact and be accountable for the overall customer relationship Conduct frequent customer status contact meetings Assist Finance with delinquent receivables collection as needed Identify regional marketing opportunities and participate in trade shows as needed Provide competitive and market feedback to Expanse Electrical management Regularly communicate with the Vice President of Sales, including joint selling throughout the year Team with Business Development Managers, Operations experts, and other Sales team members to solve customer problems and drive growth Comply with all HR policies including Credit card, Expense reporting and Company Vehicle operation Qualifications
Strong knowledge of oil and gas production operations General knowledge of industrial instrumentation, electrical construction, electrical distribution, and oilfield instrumentation are very helpful Proven work experience as a sales representative or field operations with extensive customer interface Excellent knowledge of MS Office, and Excel Familiarity with industrial sales practices along with ability to build productive business relationships Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills Prioritization, time management and organizational skills Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs Relationship management skills and openness to feedback Ability to effectively and regularly converse and comprehend in English About Expanse Electrical
