Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Outside Sales Representative
to join our sister company
American Block Mfg. . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oilfield equipment sales, industrial manufacturing, or heavy machinery, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and drive business growth across assigned territories. This role requires a self-starter with technical understanding of the products we manufacture and the ability to communicate value to both existing and prospective customers. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the customer base within assigned territories. Identify new business opportunities in the oilfield, energy, and industrial sectors. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular on-site visits and professional communication. Present product lines, capabilities, and technical solutions to clients and prospects. Collaborate with internal departments — engineering, operations, and customer service — to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. Prepare quotes, proposals, and bid packages based on customer requirements. Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed to promote company products and services. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM systems. Qualifications
3–5 years of outside sales experience
in oilfield equipment, manufacturing, industrial supply, or related sectors (required). Strong technical understanding of
mud pumps, blocks, swivels, valves, and pressure-control equipment
preferred. Proven ability to generate new business and manage customer accounts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated and results-driven with strong organizational abilities. Ability to travel regularly to customer sites and trade events. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
