$27.00/hr - $29.00/hr Position Summary
The Sales Coordinator is crucial in supporting the sales team and optimizing sales operations within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments, tracking sales data, ensuring smooth processes, and providing administrative support to enhance the overall efficiency of the sales function. Responsibilities
Work with Product Development and Brand teams for data integrity and update the Sales team accordingly. Update and manage the customer contact lists as needed to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Sales Process Support
Assist in the development and refinement of sales processes, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with sales managers to ensure consistent adherence to established sales processes. Administrative Support
Provide administrative support to Sales team leadership by gathering and entering information into retailers’ portals and documents for item setup. Maintain data in portals and documents and update accordingly across all accounts when changes occur. Collaborate with the brand team to maintain updated and cohesive master documents and communicate any updates to the sales team. Manage retailer and representative sample orders. Work cross-functionally to gather production, proto and mockup samples. Print and tag all samples with sample tags and carton labels for their destination according to retailer requirements. Help complete modular planning tools and forms across all retailers, including submitting images for modular planning. Familiarize yourself with each retailer’s requirements and standards (e.g., Walmart’s case and a half requirement). Prepare sales presentations, proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents. Support the Sales team in managing communications with customers, brokers, third party merchandisers, and marketing partners. Assist in coordinating sales meetings, conferences, and events, including logistical arrangements and material preparation. Triage the general sales inbox. Gather and submit required documents and forms for new vendor setup, including W9, contacts, reviewing vendor guides, and ticketing process. Maintain assortment sheets, pricing files, and reconciling on orders. Sales Training and Onboarding
Support the onboarding of new Sales team members by providing training in sales tools, processes, and systems. Help create and update training materials to ensure consistent and effective training for Sales staff. Communication and Collaboration
Facilitate communication and collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Brand and other departments to ensure alignment and information sharing. Serve as a liaison between Sales and other teams to address operational issues and streamline processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and automation where appropriate. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply chain, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 0 - 2 years of work experience in a support role. Prior experience in sales operations or coordination is a plus. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Highly motivated and driven with meticulous attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
