Management Analyst (Mid - Senior Level)

Location: San Diego, CA. In person, with some remote opportunity; not a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
Lead advanced engineering teams in applying data analytics, operations research, and financial/cost analysis to support the U.S. Navy’s engineering domains in cost, schedule, and performance.
Drive complex analyses, report findings, and develop recommendations that shape acquisition and program decisions across NAVWAR and PEO C4I programs.
Prepare and deliver high-visibility briefs, reports, and executive summaries for senior Navy and DoD stakeholders.
Collaborate across engineering, cybersecurity, and acquisition teams; lead working groups, reviews, and stakeholder meetings; ensure compliance with DoD, DON, and NAVWAR acquisition policies.
Qualifications / What you bring
7+ years: salary range starting at $120,000; 10+ years: $145,000+ (ranges vary depending on opportunity, experience, and other factors)
Active DoD Secret clearance required; an active TS/SCI is strongly preferred
Experience with management and program analysis: collect, review, and analyze program information (cost, schedule, performance, revenues, expenditures); interview managers and employees; analyze organizational processes
Proven ability to define problems, apply analytical techniques, and develop effective solutions
Experience applying mathematical models to assess program or organizational effectiveness
Strong written and oral communication for senior-level clients and stakeholders
Experience with Navy SYSCOM structures, acquisition processes, and compliance with DoD and DON policies
Experience collaborating with engineering, cybersecurity, and acquisition personnel to ensure integrated program support
Ability to adapt to evolving program requirements while maintaining cost and schedule integrity
