Position Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician to join our busy, thriving practice in Annapolis, MD, on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated physician to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of our community's youth.


Schedule:

  • Four days per week (Monday - Friday).
  • One Saturday per month.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pediatrician at Bayside Pediatrics, you will provide comprehensive primary care, focusing on:

  • Routine Pediatric Care: Performing well-child examinations, administering vaccinations, and conducting developmental screenings from infancy through adolescence.
  • Acute and Chronic Illness Management: Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses (e.g., infections, minor injuries) and managing chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, allergies, ADHD).
  • Preventive Guidance: Offering anticipatory guidance and education to parents and patients on topics such as nutrition, safety, growth, and development.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate, timely, and thorough electronic health records (EHR).

Note: There are no required procedures; however, experience with ear piercing is a plus.


Qualifications

  • Education and Certification: Must be a Board Certified Pediatrician (or Board Eligible, actively pursuing certification).
  • Experience: Requires at least 12 years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting. (We are unable to consider new graduates for this position at this time.)
  • Licensure: Must possess an active and unrestricted Medical License in the State of Maryland or be willing to obtain one prior to the start date.
  • DEA Registration: Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Skills: Strong clinical acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to evidence-based medicine.
