Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)

Position Overview We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our busy, thriving practice in Annapolis, MD, on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated advanced practice provider to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of our community's youth.
Schedule: Four days per week (Monday - Friday). One Saturday per month. Key Responsibilities As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Bayside Pediatrics, you will provide comprehensive primary care, focusing on: Routine Pediatric Care:
Performing well-child examinations, administering vaccinations, and conducting developmental screenings from infancy through adolescence. Acute and Chronic Illness Management:
Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses (e.g., infections, minor injuries) and managing chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, allergies, ADHD) under physician supervision. Preventive Guidance:
Offering anticipatory guidance and education to parents and patients on topics such as nutrition, safety, growth, and development. Collaboration:
Working closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Documentation:
Maintaining accurate, timely, and thorough electronic health records (EHR). Note: There are no required procedures; however, experience with ear piercing is a plus.
Qualifications Education and Certification:
Must have a Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and be a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-BC or CPNP). Experience:
Must have at least 12 years of post-graduate experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in a clinical primary care setting.
(We are unable to consider new graduates for this position at this time.) Licensure:
Must possess an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the State of Maryland or be willing to obtain one prior to the start date. DEA Registration:
Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one. Skills:
