Job Overview Hardware Development Engineer – Milwaukee, WI Responsibilities Evaluates reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production. Plans, designs and develops electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment, packaging and optical systems. Frequently interacts with peers and customers to cooperate on technical projects and present information. Networks with senior internal/external personnel in area of expertise. Works on issues of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Receives assignments in terms of objectives and determines the process for meeting goals. Receives little day‑to‑day instruction; generally instructed on new assignments. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum 5+ years of related experience. Experienced professional with full understanding of area of specialization; resolves wide range of issues creatively. Electrical design experience. Oscilloscope and multimeter experience required. Previous safety experience is a plus. Analog and digital design concepts. Hardware verification and validation testing. Prototype builds. Mentor graphics or Altium systems.
