Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year A bit about us: We are currently on the lookout for a driven and experienced Quality Engineer to join our thriving manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards we have set for our products and processes. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing systems that ensure our manufacturing processes meet and exceed customer expectations. This is a permanent position providing an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. Why join us? Responsibilities: 1. Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals. 2. Supervise and mentor a team of quality control inspectors. 3. Oversee the operation of CNC machines and other equipment to ensure the production of high-quality products. 4. Conduct regular audits of the manufacturing process to identify areas of improvement and implement action plans. 5. Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement standards for product quality, efficiency, and output. 6. Lead problem-solving and process improvement processes to ensure effective manufacturing techniques. 7. Manage the investigation of customer complaints regarding quality and implement appropriate corrective actions. 8. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends and communicating these to management. 9. Ensure compliance with and international standards and legislation. 10. Keep up to date with the latest manufacturing and engineering trends and advancements. Job Details Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing or machine shop environment. 3. Proficient in the operation and understanding of CNC machines. 4. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing methodologies, quality control standards, and statistical techniques. 5. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. 6. Excellent communication and leadership skills. 7. Proven experience with quality management systems. 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis. 9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 10. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
