Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Urgent Care / Occupational Medicine
Board certified as FNP or PA-C l Full-Time Position
Located in Granville, NC (28 miles to Raleigh, NC)
Position Overview:
Treats patients for urgent care and occupational medicine needs
Performs physical exams, takes histories, orders/interprets tests
Manages minor injuries, episodic illnesses, and work-related health issues
Conducts DOT and fitness-for-duty exams
Provides emergency stabilization care if needed
Works independently with physician available for consultation
Clinical Procedures May Include:
Laceration repair (sutures/staples/Dermabond)
Splinting fractures
Foreign body removal
Incision/drainage of abscesses
Pelvic exams, EKG, and X-ray interpretation
Basic airway management and CPR
Requirements:
Master's degree (NP or PA) from an accredited program
Board certified as FNP or PA-C
Active NC license and DEA eligibility
DOT-certified or willing to obtain
2+ years' experience in urgent care, ER, or occupational medicine preferred
