A day in the life:

Step into the thrilling role of Senior Data Engineer at Monster Energy, where you'll supercharge our data game! Get ready to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures that fuel cutting-edge analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data solutions that drive our energy to the next level. The impact you'll make:

Compile, organize, and reconcile data. Deliver analytics and measurement documents, dashboards, charts and pivot tables on demand and for repeating milestones (e.g. weekly, monthly, etc.). Translate raw data and marketing results into easy-to-understand findings. Preparation of results into executive summaries and business reviews. Apply working knowledge of marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, social media analytics) to data analytics. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of digital marketing environment and best practices. Utilize Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to extract data from Microsoft (MS) Azure and other data sources. Use Power Bi for data visualization and create dashboards & reports, extract insights. Create semantic models and dimensional schemas to support BI tools and analytics platforms. Optimize query performance and storage efficiency using best practices in indexing, partitioning, and caching. Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze marketing campaigns for effectiveness and develop data driven strategies that lead to improvements in campaign performance and other key performance indicators, including competitive analysis. Stay updated in the latest analytics trends and technologies for global consumer brands, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and participating in professional organizations. Create ad-hoc reporting and support new report development as needed. Assist with special department projects at the direction of the Insights & Analytics department leaders. Who you are:

Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in data engineering, with proven expertise in cloud platforms and big data technologies. Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in writing and editing SQL queries; familiarity with opensource data mining and visualization tools. Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency in SQL, Python. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI/ visualization tools., including report/dashboard creation, semantic modeling, and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) functions. Preferred Certifications: N/A

Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an estimated annual salary of $114,000 - $152,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
