Job Details Description The Production Controller is responsible for planning for stock, specials, new tool introduction, and assisting with updating information in the ERP system. The position frequently communicates with Manufacturing Teams regarding planned production and reducing slow moving inventory while maintaining/increasing service level and overall inventory turns. This individual reviews production schedules against demand to determine when expedited requests need to be initiated. In This Role, You Will Handle Purchasing and Production ordering Run reports to determine stocking needs, backorders, and late orders Order stock tools and place orders for production tools Return authorization execution Order Acknowledgments, confirming receipt of PO by manufacturer within 24 hours File confirmations for reference Expedite manufacturing of orders to support sales demands Update production completion dates into ERP system Communicate arrival dates of back ordered items to Customer Facing Team Coordinate with machine operators on upcoming jobs and set ups You'll Bring Associated degree related to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or 2 to 3 years previous production planning, scheduling, or procurement experience Expert Level Excel and other MS Office software applications Knowledge and prior use of ERP systems, preferably Epicor Prophet 21 or Global Shop Solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines Where You'll Work Our freshly renovated facility resides in Meridian, ID, just on the edge of the border with iconic Boise, ID.
