The
IT Data Analyst
is a strategic, cross-functional role responsible for transforming enterprise data into actionable intelligence through advanced analytics, automation, visualization, and AI. This individual will champion the evolution from traditional reporting to modern data intelligence - where data engineering, business insights, automation, and generative AI intersect to empower smarter, faster decisions across the organization.
In addition to implementing data strategy, this role oversees the development and adoption of cutting-edge technologies like Power Platform automation, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and data storytelling frameworks, ensuring enterprise data delivers clarity, innovation, and impact.
This full-time hybrid position is based on the northside of Indianapolis, IN, and requires onsite work, typically 3-4 days pers week based on business needs.
The starting salary for this role is $65,000 commensurate with experience, plus corporate and individual bonus opportunities.

Summary of essential job functions/responsibilities Implement the organization's Data Intelligence strategy-integrating Data Engineering, Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation into a cohesive vision. Position data intelligence as a competitive advantage and driver of enterprise-wide innovation. Build and scale robust data infrastructure, including CRM databases, lakes, warehouses, and real-time pipelines. Oversee automation initiatives leveraging platforms like Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to streamline reporting, alerts, and low-code workflow solutions. Ensure secure, governed, and compliant use of data across platforms and tools. Champion data visualization best practices and ensure business data is presented clearly, interactively, and contextually using Power BI and CRM dashboards. Promote storytelling with data-empowering teams to translate complex datasets into narratives that influence strategy and decision-making. Support executive and departmental stakeholders with clear, insightful dashboards and reports that go beyond KPIs to uncover opportunities and risks. Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, and IT to understand needs and co-design impactful data solutions. Deliver scalable data products-dashboards, models, automation workflows-that solve real problems and create measurable outcomes. Ensure data initiatives are aligned with strategic priorities, operational needs, and customer expectations. Implement data governance frameworks, promote data stewardship, and enforce compliance regarding internal policies and regulatory standards. Implement ethical guidelines and guardrails for the use of AI, with attention to bias mitigation, data privacy, and transparency. Foster enterprise data literacy and promote responsible, confident use of AI and data tools. Minimum requirements
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, along with project and database management Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience 2+ years of progressive experience in data strategy, analytics, or intelligence roles. Familiar with data architecture, cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Hands-on knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and other low-code tools. SQL experience. Strong people skills with experience working in cross-functional teams. Ability to translate data into business value through storytelling, visualization, and executive-level presentations. Strategic thinker with excellent collaboration and change management capabilities. Physical Demands and Work Environment

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. IT requirement - Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
