VetNow Animal Urgent Care is looking for a strong overnight veterinary technician with experience working autonomously overnight. We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled veterinary technician to join our team. The candidate should be energetic, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping build an amazing practice. We aim to improve pet owners\' access to urgent and emergent care with state-of-the-art medicine in a fast, reliable, and affordable way, and to partner with families to bridge the gap between primary care and 24-hour emergency/specialty hospitals.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Veterinary Technician at VetNow Animal Urgent Care in Studio City, CA. The overnight VT is responsible for supporting the Urgent Care Department with high-level technical skills and comfort practicing independently. The role works alongside veterinarians and management to ensure optimal patient outcomes and team performance during emergency cases and critical care treatment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the only VT on ER overnight shifts, primarily taking care of in-patients. WE DO NOT RECEIVE PATIENTS 12AM-12PM.
• Work autonomously with oversight from the overnight veterinarian to provide optimal care to hospitalized overnight patients.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and hospital protocols related to emergency and critical care services.
• Communicate effectively with DVMs, client service teams, and leadership to ensure continuity of care.

• Full-time rotating 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts.
• Additional $3/hr differential added to hourly base pay for overnight shifts.
• Balid Veterinary technician license (LVT, RVT in California) preferred but NOT required.
• 2+ years of experience in a technician role; emergency experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a veterinary technician; emergency experience preferred
• California LVT/RVT preferred but not required
• Ability to work autonomously on overnight shifts and collaborate with a veterinary team
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
