Overview
NSC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Team. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Administrative Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting project management, coordinating events, and handling travel and scheduling needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
- Support project management efforts by tracking progress, following up on action items, and preparing updates.
- Create high-quality presentations, reports, and other materials in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Assist in planning and coordinating meetings, events, and conferences.
- Handle travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and databases.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Executive Team.
- Provide general administrative support as needed, including drafting correspondence, preparing reports, and handling confidential information.
- Occasionally provide support outside of normal working hours as business needs arise.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, executive assistant, or similar role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with project management tools or CRM systems (Bullhorn experience a plus).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly responsive.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally for meetings and events.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Experience supporting senior executives is a plus.
- Familiarity with the staffing industry is a plus.
- Event planning and coordination experience is a plus.
