Overview

Title: Senior US IT Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Executive

Role: Hardware Test Engineer

Location: Boxborough, Massachusetts, United States

Engagement: Long term

Responsibilities

• The Test Engineer is responsible for managing and executing environmental validation testing to support existing and new product development. Act as the single point of contact to coordinate test setup, test execution and report generation as required by the Core and New Products engineering teams.
• Collaborate closely with peers in the global engineering organization as well as operations and project management.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be familiar with test equipment such as DMM, AC/DC voltage sources, Hi-Pot, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Power Meter, Calipers, Micrometer, IR Temp Gun, and Flow Meters.
• Interpret standards to determine the required testing for a product to meet a specific standard (e.g., EN61326, UL913).
• Operate test equipment for EMC/EMI testing, including RFI testing, EMI testing, Burst/EFT, Conducted Immunity, and related procedures.
• Perform vibration testing.
• Design, fabricate and implement test setups to meet testing requirements.
• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis with the ability to recommend changes and/or fixes.
• Develop, execute test plans and resulting reports.
• Coordinate testing with third-party labs.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with UL (508, 913, 353), CSA, FCC, CE EN61326 standards
• Experience with Laplace II test cell

Qualifications and Job Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Associates degree in engineering or related technical field
• Bachelor degree in engineering or related science is preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

5+ years of experience in a Test engineering field
