Distribution Center Janitor – Goodwill Industries of San Diego County

Responsibilities

• Performs janitorial services including cleaning floors and windows, dusting furniture, cleaning and stocking bathrooms, vacuuming offices, sweeping various areas, and cleaning carpets when needed.
• Maintains an inventory of cleaning supplies and gathers and empties trash.
• Follows procedures for the use of cleaners and equipment to maintain safety in the warehouse; politely answers customer questions.
• Notifies manager concerning the need for repairs or additions to the warehouse; on a weekly basis notifies management of additional supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Sweeps and picks up trash from the parking lot and perimeter of the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of related cleaning experience; experience in working in a warehouse preferred.
