Overview

Worldwide Logistics Inc. is recruiting an accounting clerk to oversee all financial activities. The responsibilities of the accounting clerk include managing financial tasks and ensuring that finances are used beneficially. You should also ensure that investments and finances comply with regulations. The position reports to the US Assistant Controller and will also be interacting with internal and external customers as well with a variety of providers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Records accounting data in an accurate and timely manner
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage Operational system manual interphase to the ERP.
  • Work closely with teams to understand data needs and provide solutions that enhance business intelligence and decision-making.
  • Preparing and processing payment batches, including checks, electronic transfers, and other payment methods
  • Manage customer and Vendor setup with rules and regulations required.
  • Posting of overhead expenses.
  • Manage daily the flow of data between different systems and.
  • Participation in month-end closing following procedures set.
  • Cooperation with other offices within the WWL Group.
  • Contribute to special projects as needed, showcasing your versatility and adaptability.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations/ensuring team members comply with regulations.
  • Identify and resolve data integration issues, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Prepares and reconciles various financial reports
  • Overseeing accounts receivable, account payable and bank reconciliation.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • At least two years of experience in the accounting field (PnL, Balance Sheet, and Reporting).
  • Studies in accounting or similar.
  • Knowledge of accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Minimal knowledge of Excel
