Overview

Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager. This role will oversee the month-end close process, account reconciliations, and both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions. The Accounting Manager will supervise two accounting staff and play a key role in financial reporting and inventory accounting.

Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee daily operations of AP and AR
• Prepare and review account reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Maintain and improve inventory accounting processes
• Supervise, mentor, and develop two accounting team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with inventory accounting
• NetSuite experience is required
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
