Overview

Position Summary We are seeking a well-rounded, versatile Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Finance team in Denver. The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making with accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the monthly close process for multiple subsidiaries
  • Oversee and streamline the AP process, including travel, expense reimbursement, & 1099 filing
  • Oversee the payroll process, including benefit deductions and state payroll tax accounts
  • Oversee the 401(k) program, including matching and compliance reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements
  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Manage the chart of accounts
  • Supervise offshore accounting staff and collaborate with other departments
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other ad hoc reporting
  • Support the audit of financials and internal controls
  • Participate in systems/process improvements and finance transformation initiatives
  • Assist with M&A activities, including systems integrations
  • Assist with the completion and documentation of internal controls
  • Assist with corporate tax return supporting documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including both public accounting and industry
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software (NetSuite Experience Is Preferred)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools

Compensation

Salary Range: $105,000-$135,000 Base + 20% Bonus & Stock options
