Base pay range

$50,000.00/hr - $55,000.00/hr

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an Accounting Analyst. Responsibilities and requirements are listed below.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of available data sources and related systems
• Manage and analyze large data sets using advanced spreadsheet tools
• Extract, combine, and deliver reports from multiple data sources for internal stakeholders
• Respond to inquiries and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions
• Support business processes, programs, and projects requiring detailed reporting and analytics
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance through audits, error resolution, and process improvements
• Communicate effectively with team members and business partners to meet reporting deadlines
• Follow company policies and regulatory requirements, reporting any compliance issues
• Promote safety and report any hazards or incidents promptly
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
• Stay current with industry standards, technology, and best practices through training and research

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or data analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, large data sets)
• Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
• Preferred experience with ERP systems

Pay and benefits note

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
