Overview

Front Office Assistant - Bilingual at Community Health Partnership of Illinois (CHP). Location: Kankakee, IL. CHP is a non-profit providing primary health care to migrant farmworkers and medically underserved populations. We focus on delivering quality, culturally responsive health care services.

Compensation

This range is provided by CHP. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $15.00/hr - $17.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests and visitors as they arrive at the office
• Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Stock and maintain office supplies
• Ensure all visitors sign in and out of the office
• Assist with special projects and events as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Bilingual Spanish/English required

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid Driver's license and automobile insurance
• CPR certification within 90 days of employment and current certification thereafter
• Annual OSHA/HIPAA training in accordance with CHP policies
• Annual TB test in accordance with CHP policy and procedures
• Hepatitis B vaccination/waiver in accordance with CHP protocol
