Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective production. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and support the introduction of new products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows.
  • Analyze production metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by working with design and quality teams to ensure manufacturability.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams on equipment upgrades and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, or equipment to enhance production capabilities.
  • Train operators and technicians on new processes and technologies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, welding, or automation.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical devices).
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Power BI).
