Senior Product Manager - Identity Threat Protection
Join Okta as a Senior Product Manager for Identity Threat Protection (ITP), focusing on stopping identity-based attacks and building secure access solutions.
What You Will Do
Own the ITP product at Okta
Grow product usage and adoption, ensuring customers successfully defend against complex identity-based attacks
Develop hypotheses around customer problems and understand the evolving attack surface, including human identities, AI, and NHI
Drive roadmap and product innovation, prioritizing high‑value work and balancing new features with platform stability
Create new solutions and offerings that enhance value for existing and new customers
Leverage product data to improve functionality and adoption
Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure product success
Define and communicate clear product requirements, including features, user experience, and technical specifications
Strategically develop differentiated identity security solutions and serve as the subject‑matter expert in the area
Required Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience in identity or enterprise security SaaS, or equivalent background demonstrating product leadership
Direct experience in cybersecurity or identity management (IAM, threat intelligence, security operations, incident response)
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) and a collaborative, customer‑focused approach
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical background
A proven track record of driving tangible business results through successful product delivery
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
A genuine passion for Okta’s mission and a strong intellectual curiosity to learn deeply about both business and technical aspects
Preferred Qualifications
Experience owning an end‑to‑end product and its business functions
Knowledge of adversarial techniques and industry‑leading cybersecurity products (XDR, SSE, firewalls, SIEM/SIAM)
Experience building high‑growth, full‑stack products from platform to UX and CX
Demonstrated product‑management lifecycle experience for enterprise products with scale considerations
Familiarity with IAM protocols and products
Advanced degree in a technical or business field is a plus
Benefits & Compensation Competitive base salary ($155,000–$233,000) for the San Francisco Bay Area, plus equity, bonus, and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and parental leave. Must attend in‑person onboarding in San Francisco the first week.
