Position Description Contributes to the university’s mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit. Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Major/Essential Functions
Inpatient pediatric endocrinology consult service
Inpatient pediatric endocrinology service
Outpatient pediatric endocrinology clinic 4 days per week
Supervision of mid‑level providers
Supervising residents and medical students in inpatient and outpatient settings
Provide lectures and conferences for residents and medical students
Conduct and publish peer‑reviewed clinical research
Required Qualifications
Completion of pediatric endocrinology fellowship or in the process of completing.
Board certification in pediatric endocrinology or passing of board certification within one year of employment.
Texas medical license.
