Cyber SDC - OT Architecture & Governance Issues/Defect - Senior - Consulting - Location OPEN. EY invites you to join a team focused on operational technology (OT) architecture, governance, and defect management to ensure secure and compliant OT environments. Position highlights: responsible for operational support for issues management and defects creation, monitoring, and tracking against client OT architectures; oversee and govern OT systems to enhance security and compliance; collaborate with a team of experts to align OT architectures with organizational goals and industry standards. Key Responsibilities

Review and validate OT system designs for alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Maintain and evolve governance frameworks, SOPs, and documentation. Support change review boards and architecture decision forums. Defect & Issue Management: lead defect intake, triage, remediation cycles; track and report on defects, risks, and remediation progress. Facilitate weekly defect review meetings and ensure timely follow-ups with stakeholders. Collaboration & Communication: partner with OT architects, system owners, cybersecurity teams, and DECA to resolve issues; provide guidance to site teams on governance and defect-related matters; communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences. Continuous Improvement: identify gaps in documentation and propose updates; contribute to standard work and LEAN process improvements. Provide architecture oversight for OT systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards; review and approve designs with focus on security, compliance, and operational efficiency. Establish governance frameworks and best practices for OT architecture and design processes; collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess designs and provide improvement recommendations; facilitate decision-making with stakeholders. Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for proposed changes; stay current with OT trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements; maintain OT architecture standards documentation. Qualifications & Skills

Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments and governance; end-to-end issues management and defect workflows (intake, review, change requests). Ability to build and manage SOPs, trackers, and reporting templates; strong understanding of manufacturing/ shopfloor/ ICS, building management, or other OT environments and related safety, quality, production considerations. Experience with security architecture design and assessment of technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AI/ML, ZTA); familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NERC CIP, NIS, CIS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443) and applying them to OT. Knowledge of security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, access management) and risk-based remediation/migration planning. ServiceNow and AuditBoard usage experience. Soft skills: problem solving, program/project leadership, ability to analyze complex OT architectures and defect patterns, root-cause analysis, cross-functional collaboration, effective stakeholder communication.
