The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You’re a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. With a deep understanding of AWS products and services, you will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer’s specific needs. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. You will lead the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.

Key job responsibilities:

Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs

Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery

Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies

Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies

Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field

3+ years of cloud computing technologies experience

3+ years of professional software development experience

3+ years of in design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience

Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in automation through devops scripting (e.g. shell, python, ruby, powershell)

Experience with designing and building application using AWS services such as Lambda, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Kubernetes

AWS Professional level certification, or Associate's degree or above

Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape

Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience

Experience with database, data warehouse or data lake solutions

Compensation and benefits will vary based on geographic market. The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $131,300/year up to $177,600/year. The National base pay ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest market up to $204,300/year in our highest market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job’related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity, sign‐on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
