Job Title: Social Media & Project Manager
Location: Must be located in a market that Go2Sports currently has Regional teams in; i.e. Hillsborough NJ area, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, Chester County, Northern Virginia, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, or Minnesota.

Position Overview The Social Media & Project Manager will oversee the club’s digital presence, coordinate communications, and manage key projects and events throughout the season. They will also help manage the projects of the Executive Director. This role combines creative content creation, strategic planning, and hands‑on coordination to ensure the club runs smoothly and continues to grow its reach and reputation in the lacrosse community.
Key Responsibilities Social Media Management
Develop and execute a content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and other platforms.
Capture and create engaging photo, video, and written content from practices, games, and events.
Manage posting schedules, stories, and campaigns to maintain consistent brand presence.
Grow audience engagement and track analytics to optimize performance.
Coordinate with players, coaches, and parents for features, highlights, and announcements.
Create event, recruitment, etc. flyers that highlight the events and achievements of the clubs and its players.
Project & Event Management
Assist in planning and executing tournaments, travel logistics, and team events.
Oversee timelines and deliverables for club initiatives (e.g., apparel launches, registration campaigns).
Communicate with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure smooth collaboration.
Manage email newsletters, website updates, and internal communication tools.
Work directly with the Executive Director on quarterly goals and manage project tasks by Region.
Brand & Marketing Support
Maintain consistency in visual identity and messaging across platforms.
Support sponsorship outreach and fulfillment (social tags, ad placements, recognition posts).
Develop promotional materials such as flyers, highlight reels, and press releases.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in social media management, marketing, or project coordination — preferably in sports or event settings.
Strong writing, visual, and storytelling skills.
Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Familiarity with lacrosse culture and youth sports organizations a strong plus.
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends during tournaments or special events.
Experience playing lacrosse at the high school or collegiate level.
Be obsessed with the success of the clubs under Go2Sports and its players success.
Compensation
Competitive salary starting at $65,000 based on experience and location.
