General Purpose of the Job This role requires someone who has had their Epic PB Certification for 3‑7 years and experience using it. An Epic Analyst works to build and support one or more Epic modules for live and implementing customers. This individual will work with clinical, administrative, and revenue cycle users to support nephrology practices using the Epic CKD product by performing day‑to‑day maintenance of the Epic system, enhancement build, and new implementation build. This person will use their knowledge and experience to solve new problems with technology and should be self‑disciplined and able to thrive in a primarily remote environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Incident and request resolution (30%) – Monitor ServiceNow for incidents and requests, follow‑up, update status, document notes, manage workqueues and error logs, on‑call responsibilities.
Implementation support (30%) – Assist in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, build, testing, go‑live phases; support users and training; build fixes; document and migrate builds.
Upgrade, enhancement, and special projects (30%) – Support Epic upgrades, build, testing; document build steps; work with end users and SMEs to understand enhancement requests; research, design, build, test workflows.
Other duties as assigned (10%) – Mentoring and training of other Epic team members.
Education and Experience
Epic Resolute Professional Billing Certification
3‑7 years of experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Proficiency with Epic tools such as Orion, Nova, and Sherlock
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Preferred
Experience with Community Connect
Nephrology and kidney care
Project management
Nice to have Epic Certifications
