Job #3009351 – Financial Analyst (Temp)
Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $52.00/hr.
Contract Duration: January 5, 2026 – March 31, 2026 (temp assignment).
Location: 100% Remote (US). Must be comfortable working CST hours.
Schedule/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm CST (40 hours/week).
Pay Rate: $40-52/hr, depending on experience.
Summary The Financial Reporting group provides internal and external clients with assistance related to the annual audits and/or SEC filings across a diverse set of investment company types. The group prepares and reviews fund financial statements, ensuring accuracy and quality, and supports audit firms with processes and procedures for both registered and non‑registered funds, including timely SEC filings. We are looking for a Senior Consultant with expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC filings, and derivative accounting.
Knowledge / Skills
Detailed knowledge of financial statements and prior experience in reviewing them.
Strong background in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including ASC 815 & 820.
Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and make difficult decisions with limited supervision.
Proficiency in working in a fast‑paced environment and managing ambiguity and complexity.
High integrity and work ethic.
Major Duties
Review staff preparation of fund financial statements and schedules of investments; coordinate and draft notes to the financial statements for annual and semi‑annual shareholder reports for registered and non‑registered funds.
Assist with day‑to‑day operations of clients, including organization of reporting cycles.
Help manage fund and audit/client cycle deadlines to ensure deliverables are met and accurate, timely filings are completed.
Serve as a technical resource for staff regarding new investment/derivative products, financial statement preparation questions, and auditor inquiries.
Experience Required
Minimum 3–5 years of experience (6–8+ years of recent experience preferred) in financial reporting within asset management / financial services or public accounting in the same industry.
3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
Degree in accounting or CPA preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of global investment platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Global InvestOne) and financial reporting systems a plus.
