Our client is a growing services company. They are looking for a

Senior Accountant . The company is established but in growth mode, adding new lines of businesses.

Salary/Hourly Rate $70k - $78k

Position Overview As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the company's financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with a passion for the service industry. You will also be trained by an excellent mentor.

Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Review and post journal entries, and monitor transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and customer collections.

Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes. Coordinate with other teams to ensure all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported within set timelines.

Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to key stakeholders.

Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost optimization.

Assist in preparing tax returns and provide support during audits. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external tax advisors as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant

Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting.

Experience with full-cycle accounting, including financial reporting and month-end close.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant

Professional and excellent communication skills.

Organized, articulate, with good writing and verbal skills.

Strong attention to detail.
