Role Summary You’ll drive
national foodservice and distribution sales , owning new business development, key account management, and strategic growth initiatives. Reporting directly to the Founder, you’ll lead the charge to get Morning Made listed with national and regional distributors, on café menus, and in foodservice programs across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities: New Business Development
Identify, qualify, and close new
distributor and operator partnerships
nationwide (Sysco, US Foods, GFS, UNFI, etc.).
Lead outreach campaigns, calls, and in-person meetings to drive distribution and menu adoption.
Build scalable frameworks for onboarding and activation.
Account Management & Growth
Serve as the primary contact for national and regional distributor relationships.
Grow reorder velocity, expand SKU placement, and execute joint marketing initiatives.
Partner with accounts to develop quarterly business reviews and growth plans.
Negotiation & Sales Strategy
Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service-level agreements.
Develop sales programs that align with brand positioning and customer needs.
Forecast demand and ensure alignment between sales, supply chain, and production.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with
Supply Chain
on inventory planning and fulfillment timelines.
Partner with
Marketing
on menu materials, sampling programs, and training assets for baristas and chefs.
Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, and insights within
HubSpot/Salesforce .
Track performance metrics, category trends, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Trade & Training
Represent Morning Made at
tradeshows and industry events
(NRA, SCA Expo, Coffee Fest, etc.).
Host barista workshops, distributor trainings, and sampling events to drive product familiarity and advocacy.
Qualifications Required
2–5 years of
foodservice or beverage sales experience , ideally in coffee, tea, or functional beverages.
Proven track record securing and managing
broadline distributors
(Sysco, US Foods, GFS, UNFI, etc.).
Strong network within café, QSR, and hospitality channels.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Financial and operational fluency — confident managing forecasts and deal structures.
Proficiency in
CRM tools
(Salesforce or HubSpot).
Willingness to travel for account meetings and industry events.
Preferred
Self-starter with a founder’s mindset; thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
