About the Opportunity : Financial Analyst
Our client is a Financial Services Company which has been in business for over 30 years. This company is growing organically and through M&A. Due to this growth, they are expanding their Corporate Finance team and are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst who is versatile, has a "can-do" attitude, and wants to learn! This role will encompass forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, flux analysis, management reporting, KPI tracking and more.

This role will consist of traditional FP&A work on a day-to-day basis, but as a new joiner to the team you will gain exposure to and be involved with operations finance, business partnering, process automation, financial and revenue modeling, and more. What you will do The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in modeling, management reporting, budgeting, and various analytical efforts within the group while developing and managing relationships with key leaders / stakeholders within various corporate and operational departments.
Responsibilities
Enhance and maintain the consolidated financial model responsible for monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, and the annual budgeting process
Identify and implement new processes to enhance accuracy of financial models
Prepare presentations to help senior management understand the company outlook and assist on strategic business decisions
Monitor the performance of various revenue streams and prepare key variance reporting for senior management
Support the larger finance team with month end close, financial reporting, planning & budgeting, and other misc. tasks
Proactively research, analyze, and resolve financial inquiries from business leaders on an ad-hoc basis
Ability to work independently or collaboratively to solve complex problems and manage time effectively
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues across business units to foster a cross-functional collaborative environment
Qualifications
A desire to learn and grow in knowledge and in responsibilities
A continuous improvement mindset
Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) in the Chicago, IL area
BS in Finance/Economics/Accounting required - MBA track preferred
5+ years of overall relevant Corporate FP&A Experience
Financial Services industry experience is a plus
