Store Manager position with Circle K in North Canton / Stow, OH area. Location: 773 Ambassador Drive, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281. Flexible shift availability. Job type: Full-time. Minimum qualifications and essential duties are described below. Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience in retail sales preferred. Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities as described below. Ability to supervise and train staff in use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions. Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions. Ability to use a computer or acquire necessary computer skills for site use, including analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc. A valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings. Ability to communicate (oral and written) in English. Perform other duties as assigned or delegated by supervisor. Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Skills
Leadership and Management
Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service. Develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, adequately stocked, organized and well kept based on Company standards. Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisor. Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image. Implement non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees. Site Relationships
Develop positive and professional relationships with suppliers. Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner. Promote and ensure a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community. Training and Development
Prepare on-going and timely performance appraisals in writing for all employees, providing proper performance-based feedback. Train all employees to meet Company standards for customer service, site image and marketing execution. Train all employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness. Communication
Develop methods to ensure all employees receive proper communication in a timely manner. Establish periodic ongoing communication meetings with all site employees and the Market Manager. Organizing and Planning
Evaluate and develop specific action plans to address site needs to reach objectives. Organize and maintain all site files and manuals. Manage and supervise store employees to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Manage and supervise store employees to ensure merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed and priced correctly. Ensure employment-related posters and signs are accessible to all employees. Financial
Analyze daily sales and expenses and take action to maximize sales and net profits. Budget and forecast P&L lines and understand/manage merchandise margins. Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed. Perform other financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits. Working Conditions
Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor duties (parking lots, gas pumps, trash removal). Occasional exposure to cold temperatures in walk-in cooler/freezer. Occasional exposure to noise.
