About The Role We are hiring for our Paid Media team, looking for a performance‑driven marketer with mastery of paid search advertising systems, the evolving AI search environment, and understanding of AI ecosystems and emerging ad platforms. This is not just a tactical role; it requires strategic thinking, cross‑functional collaboration, and high standards of execution across digital advertising platforms, particularly Google, YouTube, Bing, and emerging AI platforms such as Kontext, Koah, Perplexity, Claude, and OpenAI.

Primarily focused on Google, the role will also require expertise and campaign deployment on other paid search platforms and a willingness to try new platforms as AI search products evolve.

What You'll Do

Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive paid media strategies exclusively focused on paid search to increase brand visibility and drive new user acquisition and leads via paid media campaigns.

Conduct thorough brand and website audits to understand our clients’ key value propositions, core products, and brand aesthetics, identifying opportunities to market them effectively.

Maintain obsession with paid search advertising action, bid systems, and market dynamics to convert customers at the lowest possible cost.

Develop innovative paid search strategies that blend traditional search, YouTube, and emerging AI search.

Conduct competitive research to ensure success in the ad space and new acquisition audience targeting.

Manage 6‑10 paid media accounts (Google, YouTube, Bing, and emerging AI platforms) with aggregate monthly spends between $20,000 and $3 M.

Utilize platform ad managers, third‑party reporting tools, and AI to develop insights and action items that increase client revenues month‑over‑month.

Master KPIs such as CPA, CAC, iROAS, nCAC, MER, aMER, CTR, and CPM.

Understand industry‑wide benchmarks throughout all steps in the e‑commerce marketing funnel.

Make real‑time, proactive, and reactionary ad‑buying decisions across multiple platforms in response to trends, ensuring daily platform engagement.

Develop quarterly strategies for clients based on success metrics, ad spend, YoY performance, and projections.

Deep‑dive into competitor research, industry knowledge, and brand identity to manage client expectations and brainstorm new marketing initiatives, creative assets, and copy.

Understand full‑funnel marketing strategies to ensure healthy new customer acquisition within the broader e‑commerce equation.

Preemptively deliver projections and forecasts to clients as part of quarterly strategy.

Possess willingness and openness to learn and understand e‑commerce P&Ls and financial metrics.

What You'll Need to Be Successful

Mastery of the e‑commerce marketing funnel – from ad to landing page to conversion.

7+ years minimum of paid media advertising experience within paid search, especially Google.

5+ years managing paid search advertising for growing clients in the consumer space, spending at least $400k+ per month.

Expertise in developing, testing, and optimizing ad copy and short‑form video creative.

Expertise in creative consultation for successful paid social ads that convert.

Data‑derived decision‑making and forecasting budgets/ spend projections linked to outcomes.

Experience with all core e‑commerce revenue drivers, reporting on metrics that matter (CPA, CAC, iROAS, aMER, CPM).
