We are currently seeking a
JV B Tennis Head Coach
to join our Athletic Department for the 2026 spring season.
Reports to:
Director of Athletics FLSA Status:
Stipend, part‑time position
Duties & Responsibilities
Implement instruction and training programs to prepare student-athletes for competition, including plans for experienced and new players.
Collaborate with coaching staff to plan, organize, and run daily practices.
Attend all practices and competitions as directed by the Head Tennis Coach and Director of Athletics.
Supervise student-athletes during all team activities.
Comply with Sacred Heart and sport-specific organization policies and procedures.
Assist in maintaining equipment.
Communicate effectively with parents and students.
Practice Schedule
Monday‑Friday: 4:00‑6:00 pm; occasional Saturday matches.
Travel with the team for practices and matches is required; some matches may require early departure for Upper School level teams.
Qualifications The ideal coaching candidate will have experience at the college level or equivalent, expertise in teaching sport-specific skills and strategy, and the ability to relate and communicate effectively with young women. Candidates should be energetic, approachable, knowledgeable, and eager to be an active member of a dynamic athletic and learning community.
