Senior Technical Recruiter
role at
Rillet.
What We Do Rillet serves finance teams. Our customers are the financial brains of their companies. Our job is to help them run the numbers with impossible speed, accuracy, and insight. Rillet is an AI-native ERP that can drive a zero‑day close. We are different because of our unified source‑of‑truth data model, hundreds of best‑in‑class native integrations (Stripe, Ramp, Salesforce, etc), automated & auditable workflows, multi‑entity consolidation, and quickly expanding army of specialized AI agents (e.g., accrual, audit, P&L flux, board decks, etc). These earn us a consistently perfect customer satisfaction score. High‑growth AI customers like Windsurf, Postscript, and Finch love our ship velocity, because their financial stack needs to scale as quickly as they do.
We have raised $100M from leading investors (including Sequoia, a16z, Iconiq, Oak HC/FT, and First Round) to help everyone run their numbers at the speed of AI.
Who We Are Rillet’s pace is not for everyone. Intelligence is table stakes. To succeed here, you need extreme speed, agency, and flexibility. Successful Rilleteers do not wait for assignments. They internalize a mission, design a strategy, and bring back results that are better, faster, and more creative than a manager could have asked for. Work revolves around our customers. Successful Rilleteers are energized by delivering the most important things, even those that weren’t in the original plan. In this role, you do not need to be an accountant. But you do need to appreciate the value that our customers can create for their own company when we equip them with the perfect financial tools. Successful Rilleteers love powering the financial core of the world’s fastest‑growing companies.
What You’ll Do
Partner strategically with engineering and technical leadership to develop comprehensive recruiting strategies, workforce planning, and hiring roadmaps for software engineering, ML/AI, data, and engineering leadership roles.
Source and engage top‑tier technical talent through sophisticated sourcing techniques, technical community engagement, open source contribution analysis, competitive mapping, and building robust talent pipelines for both immediate and future technical needs.
Own full‑cycle recruiting processes for complex, senior‑level technical roles, including orchestrating technical interviews, coding assessments, and system design evaluations while delivering an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our engineering culture.
Serve as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers and candidates on market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, technical role positioning, competitive landscape analysis, and offer negotiation to drive successful placements and closes.
We embrace flexible work arrangements. While this position offers remote work flexibility, we are looking for candidates located within commuting distance of our San Francisco or New York City office for periodic events and in‑person collaboration.
Who We’re Looking For
5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on engineering roles in high‑growth startup environments or top‑tier agencies serving tech clients.
Proven ability to flex between high‑volume recruiting initiatives and highly specialized, hard‑to‑fill technical roles—consistently delivering quality hires with speed regardless of role complexity or hiring volume.
Demonstrated success recruiting across the technical stack—from backend/frontend engineers to ML engineers, engineering managers, and technical executives—with the ability to articulate what excellence looks like at each level and provide concrete examples from your hiring portfolio.
Deep understanding of engineering culture and technical communities, with excellent relationship‑building skills and the ability to earn credibility with technical leaders and candidates in fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environments.
Data‑driven and metrics‑focused approach to recruiting, with experience using analytics to influence stakeholders—from defining total addressable market and ideal candidate profiles to driving process improvements and demonstrating recruiting ROI.
