Adventist Rehabilitation - Rockville Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Business Development Clinical Liaison (RN/LPN/PT/OT/SLP) who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. Establishes and fosters strong collaboration with ongoing and potential referral sources; partners with external case managers to provide seamless transition to post-acute services Screening of potential patients through electronic medical record review or telephonic, in collaboration with physicians, social workers, and case managers Understands rehabilitation, home care, and other post-acute diagnoses and clinical indicators to make appropriate decisions for admission; maintains working knowledge of insurance authorization and benefit requirements Determination of patient’s medical stability and readiness for program participation Expedites flow of admissions through collaboration with the Patient Access Clinical Coordinator, physicians, pharmacy and nursing Identifies appropriate attending physician for home care patients and obtains physician orders Follows re-hospitalized patients for safe resumption of care Contributes to the coordination of safe transition to appropriate post-acute setting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy or related area required 3-5 years clinical experience in hospital or post-acute setting Preferred experience as a Clinical Liaison or Case Manager Current license (RN/LPN/PT/OT/SLP) Looking for an energetic, skilled clinician (RN, LPN, PT, OT, SLP) to help grow our Acute Rehab Service Line Prior business development, sales, liaison experience strongly preferred
Work Schedule
Days and weekends as needed. Minimum 2 - 8 hr shifts per month. Hybrid position. Hybrid position includes onsite at hospitals as well as some in office.
Compensation
Pay Range:
$29.08 - $51.87 If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process. Legal/Policy
