Monday-Friday-during posted shop hours
Job Summary:
Examine and inspect materials, finished parts, and fabricated products for defects and wear to ensure conformance with work orders, diagrams, blueprints and customer specifications completeness.
Essential Functions
Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions.
Examine and inspect materials, finished parts, and fabricated products for defects and wear to insure conformance to customer specifications.
Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.
Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
Mark items with details such as acceptance or rejection status.
Record inspection data and calibration data.
Additional Responsibilities
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Quality Control Analysis – Conduct inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Reading Comprehension – Understanding written instruction and details.
Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Instructing – Teaching others how to perform tasks.
Learning Strategies – Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new skills.
