Civil Engineer, Project Manager-Municipal/Infrastructure (PE Required)
PACE Engineers is a Pacific Northwest engineering firm providing civil and structural engineering, planning, surveying, and construction management services from offices in Washington and Oregon.
As a Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on public works projects that shape local communities, everything from water systems and stormwater management to parks, sidewalks, and stream restoration. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to our municipal clients, manage design and construction phases, and mentor talented team members.
This role is results‑driven and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals, requiring a proactive, competitive and focused individual who thrives in fast‑paced, dynamic environments. It demands innovation, timely decision‑making, and a strong sense of urgency to deliver practical solutions.
Base pay range $124,800.00/yr - $163,800.00/yr (USD) Annually
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Lead the design and project management of municipal water and sewer system improvements
Serve as the primary contact and advisor to cities, districts, and public agencies
Oversee project teams to meet schedules, budgets, and client expectations
Prepare technical reports and communicate with stakeholders and regulatory agencies
Help shape community infrastructure throughout Washington and Oregon
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
PE license
10+ years of relevant utility or public infrastructure experience
Proven project management and client relationship skills
Strong background in stormwater, transportation, and utility design
Experience with TESC, grading, water/sewer system design, and site improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Team leadership or mentoring experience
Passion for sustainability and environmental impact
Familiarity with Northwest regulations and permitting processes
