This role is part of our growing

Municipal Engineering team

providing civil engineering services for municipal projects, including water and sewer, stormwater management, road and sidewalk design, and public works facilities.

Base Pay Range $110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Project Engineer - Municipal Salary Range: $110,000 To $150,000 (USD) Annually

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform engineering calculations and design using specialized technical skills, experience and engineering judgment to transform concept designs into construction drawings and technical specifications.

Develop plans, specifications and inspection reports as needed on assigned tasks to ensure items are complete, accurate, and in accordance with good engineering practice.

Be technically involved in the resolution of design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, detailed design work and detailed checking of design computations done by others or general coordination of specific design aspects of a project.

Assign tasks to and direct engineers, technicians and administrative staff.

Work with staff engineers and project managers to ensure projects are executed with strong financial performance related to multipliers, profit, and accounts receivable.

Interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors and others in a professional manner.

Provide input and financial acumen to pricing and costing of proposals.

Requirements

Self‑driven, energetic, and motivated team player with the capacity to effectively work on multiple projects/tasks.

Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.

Professional Engineer registration in Washington.

Minimum of 6 years of progressive civil engineering design experience, with public sector projects.

Demonstrated experience managing design teams on small engineering projects.

Knowledge of Civil 3D.

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
