Join the team as a Senior Business Analyst – Claims at Gainwell Technologies, focusing on healthcare claims and technology projects. This full‑time role is fully remote within the contiguous United States.

Summary As a Senior Business Analyst – Claims, you will harness technology to improve the health and well‑being of our members. You will coordinate a business analyst team, bridge client and technical stakeholders, develop business specifications, analyze and design business processes, and validate solutions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the duties and activities of a business analyst team on IT projects and mentor new team members.

Act as a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project managers, and technical staff to define, document, and share business requirements and expected impact.

Work with clients to develop business specifications at the start of technical projects.

Analyze, plan, design, document or recommend improvements to business processes to support client technology goals.

Verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results.

Use basic analytical or relational database software such as Excel or SQL to quantify anticipated impact.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare industry, with at least 3 years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred.

Experience with healthcare claims processes and systems.

Knowledge of computer programming concepts such as configuration, development, and batch processing.

Advanced analytical skills in Microsoft Excel or SQL and familiarity with ALM tools.

Ability to translate client needs into actionable business and technical objectives.

Strong client communication skills and relationship‑building experience.

Proven success presenting to and influencing executive‑level stakeholders.

Skilled in business process re‑engineering and analytical problem‑solving.

Literate in motivating teams and communicating technical ideas clearly.

Expected Role Details

Fully remote opportunity within the contiguous United States.

Occasional travel (0–10%).

Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel.

Video meetings required for interviews, orientation, and client interactions.

Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $69,400 – $85,000 per year (base pay may vary by region, equity, experience, and other factors).
