Position Summary
We are seeking an
IT Procurement Analyst
to support the platform procurement team in ensuring the right vendor is selected for IT, software and hardware products, achieving time-to-market goals with optimal cost, managing specification changes, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
Manage NDAs, MSAs, and all related business contracts.
Coordinate RFI/RFP/RFQ processes to support vendor selection and award strategy.
Drive appropriate terms and conditions, including INCOTERM and payment terms.
Support end-to-end new product development processes, including part number creation, BOM updates, sample fulfillment, and cost management (NRE, tooling fees, unit cost).
Ensure smooth product lifecycle transitions from NPI to MP, aligned with manufacturing strategies.
Coordinate engineering changes during product sustainment, including spec clarifications and special requests.
Facilitate communication between engineering and vendors to ensure efficiency and protect company interests.
Lead complex commercial and contractual negotiations.
Conduct competitive market analysis and manage supplier performance using scorecards.
Apply advanced procurement principles and ERP/MRP systems knowledge.
Use software and analytics tools to extract, analyze, and interpret data for business decisions.
Prepare presentations and reports using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros preferred) and PowerPoint.
Work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment across multiple sites.
Engage with OEM and VAR channel marketplaces.
Manage the full RFx process from requirements gathering to vendor award.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, with a focus on IT hardware, software, and professional services.
Strong understanding of contract law and applicable legislation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Bilingual in English and Mandarin is desirable.
